I am pretty sure you get the hint. Yes, Original Glue Strain was a fortuitous hybrid by a cannabis breeder called Joesy Whales(silently thanking him for that). It was formerly known as Gorilla Glue, but due to some controversy, they had to change the name. But as they say, What's in a name?

The strain still stands true and pure to what it was bred as. 

The invention story went somewhat like this- His Chem Sis breed became hermaphrodites which basically means having both male and female genitalia. And then his sour dubb breed pollinated, resulting in this gorgeous strain we are discussing today. Must be his lucky day because this breed has many acclaimed awards to its name with people saying there is nothing like it, yet. We could have more accidental inventions(low-key waiting for that).

The Chem Sis comes originally from ChemDawg 91 while Sour Dubb can be traced back to being a hybrid between Sour Diesel and an unknown strain. Original Glue Strain- Appearance

Original Glue owes its name to the sticky nature of its buds which are described as chunky, heavy, and of course, sticky. The nugs are small and compact flaunting a moss green colour with very light orange lines. It is usually described as a group of trichomes containing buds, leaves, and stalks that stick out. The plant grows up to eighty inches and has bright green pointy leaves. You have to make sure that the leaves get enough sunlight to have healthy blooming buds. 

The THC dominant strain has white frosty crystals and long amber hair along with big fluffy buds giving it a beautiful shine. Though the stickiness is apparent, you won't have any trouble breaking the buds apart and filling your smoking instrument with it.

The perfect way to describe the flavour is to call it rich and unique because it is unlike something you have ever seen before. You will start to recognize the different notes and play of flavours, and relish the taste once you smoke it regularly.

Aah! The Effect; the main reason why we smoke these beautiful loose leaves. 

Let me start off by putting out a word of caution for the newbies. Please stay clear of this bud. Even veterans and heavy cannabis consumers find themselves absolutely danked by this strain. It is very much possible that newbies will possibly be turned into jellies. 

Now starting with the effect, the strain has a whopping 27-32% of THC making it one of the highest THC level strains. It even has a slight presence (less than 1%) of CBD which lends its medicinal properties to it. 

The easiest way to describe the effect of this strain is to say it will knock the living light out of you. It begins with a Euphoric and happy feeling followed by laziness and couch clock.

If you have somewhere to go, I would recommend you to use this in the evening or at night. It is obvious that you should be prepared to be couch-locked and be more stoned than you have ever been. That's just what Original Glue does!

If we are talking about how it makes you feel, a study conducted by Leafly revealed that "Relaxed" was the most felt emotion, followed by Happy and Euphoric. Other emotions included feeling uplifted and sleepy.

We know the many effects and benefits of Original Glue Strain but let's see some of the things that we are not very fond of. 

The main side-effect while toking on this beautiful strain is having a dry-mouth. I would suggest keeping hydrating yourself to beat this one.

Dizziness, while extremely rare, is reported after consuming repeated or heavy dosage of the hybrid.
