How to Use?

 

 

The Pulsar RöK is a very user-friendly and simple to use dab rig, It has a one-button interface that makes it very easy to use. The steps to use it are:

  1. Fill the borosilicate glass base of the dab rig with water. Make sure you do not fill past the halfway point.
  2. Attach the disc percolator to the underside of the body of the dab rig.
  3. Place your glass base on a solid surface and then place the rest of the body on top of it.
  4. Once it is all lined up, gently press down to lock both the parts together.
  5. Dab your wax into the quartz coil.
  6. Press the power button five times to turn your Pulsar RöK electric dab rig
  7. Press the power button three times to manage the temperature setting of the device.
  8. Once heated, place the carb cap over the coil and inhale from the mouthpiece.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Though Rök has a very unique and inverted design, it requires the highest maintenance. It consists of more parts than a usual dab rig which means they all need to clean individually. Here's how you can clean your Pulsar Rök dab rig:

Atomizer: With the help of an alcohol-filled cotton swab, wipe it thoroughly. You can clean them easily while they are attached to the rest of the body. Make sure you clean the threaded connection to keep them intact.

Glass Parts: When all the glass parts are removed, soak them in isopropyl alcohol. Once it is done, rinse all the parts with cold water and let them dry.

Air Path Tubes: These parts need cleaning brushes to remove any clogs in the tubes. Once it is removed, soak the tubes in isopropyl alcohol. The final step is to rinse them with cold water and then air dry.

Mouthpiece: Remove the mouthpiece with the body and clean it with soap and water. Let it air dry before you reattach them to your device.

Performance & Vapor Quality

 

Performance

The Pulsar RöK heats up pretty quickly and does an excellent job of vaping the wax. It is cool enough to touch even when it is on active mode. The draw resistance is low but the vapour path clogs easily which can be difficult to inhale the vapour. The only downside of Pulsar RöK is that it takes a little bit longer to assemble and clean. This can be a bit disappointing to those find struggle cleaning their dab rig.

Vapour Quality

We can say that this vaporizer produces a cleaner and flavorful vapour as compared to a lot of brands. This is mainly because the disc percolator brings out more terps that make the vapour cleaner. It also has an isolated path that further helps in maintaining the purity and flavour of your herbs.

There are three temperature settings but it is great to use it in the middle. This way your flavoured vapour won't feel harsh and make your vaping experience great.

Battery, Temperature, Portability & Discreetness

Battery: According to Pulsar, this dab rig can work up to 25-30 sessions when fully charged which is great. If you smoke occasionally, then this dab rig wouldn't be a bad option. Even though it does not have a removable battery, but you need not worry about frequently charging it.

It roughly takes 2-3 hours to fully charge via Micro USB cable which can be quite underwhelming in our opinion.

Temperature: The Pulsar RöK electric dab rig has three settings for your smoking: 3.4v, 3.6v and 3.8v. It may be a bit disappointing that these voltages need to correlate to 900, 950, and 1000°F, or 482, 510, and 538°C.

The temperature is so high that it can burn down your dry herbs and will also change the flavour. This is a major downside of this dab rig.

Portability: It is compact and small. This vaporizer stands less than 7 inches and is pocket-sized. It fits perfectly in a backpack and does not even weigh a lot.

Discreetness: You might get a lot of stares if use your regular e-rig in public. However, with this product, you need not worry. The design gives it a very alien-like look which will make people confused about what it is. It can easily be used in places where discretion is important.
