As the world reels in from the impact of the unprecedented and ever-changing coronavirus, staying at home during the lockdown has been one of the most challenging times for us. But, some people, in a far far land, are being dragged away from their home, over a war that has been raging on for decades. Some people are not tired of being locked in their home but are desperate to stay safe in a place. If you're slightly active on social media and have been following pages and people who bring out the suffering of the world to the forefront, you would have guessed that we are talking about the Palestine-Israel Conflict.

The world has always come forward to help the cause of humanity, it's time to extend our support and help promote peace among Israelis and Palestinians, who are bounded in by borders, forces, and denied access to basic amenities, including healthcare during these tough times.

Palestine was a land of harmony, secularism, and peace before the settlement of Jews Refugees after the Holocaust. Since Palestine is home to major holy sites of all three religion - Islam, Jewish, and Christianity; the country encompassed all three Arab religions most articulately. If you're thinking this is a religious issue, you're not looking at the complete picture. While the majority of Israelis are Jews and the other side has Muslims, it is a simple case of humanity and a crime against civilians.

Israel, on the other hand, is the world's first Jewish state in quite a while. It addresses for Jews, the reclamation of their country after the very long term diaspora that followed the destruction of the Herodian realm in the first century.

The current state of Israel springs from both strict and political sources. As per the biblical promise, the Jews and a re-visitation of the Temple in Jerusalem were cherished in Judaism and supported Jewish character through an outcast of 19 centuries following the bombed revolts in Judaea against the Romans right off the bat in the Common Era. By the 1800s, less than 25,000 Jews actually lived in their antiquated country, and these were to a great extent gathered in Jerusalem, at that point a commonplace backwater of the Ottoman Empire.

Even though the war dates back to the early 1900s, Israel as a country was founded in 1948 after Zionists settlers occupied the area. What followed was a to and fro from both parties, demanding settlement and peace, but never reaching an agreement. Naturally, it only led to more chaos, violence, and death of innocent beings. However, the worst of the violence was recently seen!

The current conflict started at the beginning of the Holy Month of Ramadan wherein the clashes between Israeli and Palestinians escalated into a broader conflict with Israelis launching full-fledged airstrikes and Palestine responding with rockets. We have seen so many heart-breaking visuals on social media and news of communal violence, street harassment, and brutal attacks on many innocent beings.

The matter started from the neighbourhood of Sheikh Jarrah. The Israeli court ruling was awaited on the matter of the Arab East Jerusalem neighbourhood of Sheikh Jarrah, and whether the authorities would evict the Palestinians living there and give their home to Jewish settlers. The argument used by Israelis is that they lost the land of Sheikh Jarrah during the war that followed Israel's creation in 1948. However, thousands of Palestinians were also displaced during the same conflict.  Two decades after Israel’s establishment, in 1967, Israel won East Jerusalem from Jordanian forces and later annexed it. The Israeli law allows Jews to claim Jerusalem property if they can prove the pre-1948 title.

The unexpected new expansion, which is under two entire days, has raised from a confined question in Jerusalem to a full-scale airstrike over Gaza to far and wide turmoil. Stunned Israelis and Palestinians left a portion of the nation's most capable leaders expecting that the many years old Israel-Palestinian conflict was going into a new state.

Inside Israeli and Palestinian culture, the fight creates a wide variety of perspectives. This features the profound divisions which exist among Israelis and Palestinians as well as inside every general public.

The fight has been directed by customary armed forces, paramilitary gatherings, fear sellers, and people. Setbacks have not been confined to the military, with an enormous number of fatalities in the regular citizen populace on both sides. There are unmistakable global entertainers associated with the contention.

A larger part of Jews see the Palestinians' interest in an independent state and might suspect Israel can consent to the foundation of such a state. Most Palestinians and Israelis in the West Bank and Gaza Strip have communicated an inclination for a two-state arrangement.

Over the last 24 hours, the Israeli military has carried out a stream of airstrikes targeting what it says are Hamas' military installations and residential areas whereas Palestinians have retaliated with rockets. Israel unleashed new airstrikes on Gaza, razing two high-rise buildings known to be housing Hamas and other armed groups. The attacks increased tremendously, with one rocket being fired every three minutes by the Israeli forces.

As the attacks increase and innocent people die, there has been an uproar on several platforms, people coming together to support and pray, leaders condemning the violence, and much more. However, there is still so much that can be done individually to spread awareness and news. The holy site, the country, and the residence have been going through the decade-long war with no respite, hope, or peace nearby, and there seems to be no end. The least we can do is stand on the right side of history, condemn the attack on innocent beings, lend our support and stand for peace and solidarity for everyone.
